Oct 09, 2025
Leeds’ coffee scene is buzzing, and there’s no shortage of exciting new openings popping up. We’ve got cosy neighbourhood bakeries to slick grab-and-go counters, these recently launched spots are bringing fresh flavour, great design, and plenty of caffeine to the city.
Whether you’re after your next remote working spot, a weekend pastry run, or just a really good flat white, here are the newest spots in the city.
Four new coffee shops in Leeds:
Not Bakery
Up in Chapel Allerton, this neighbourhood bakery is well worth the trip out of the city. Ellen and her daughter recently stopped by and were seriously impressed by the pastries, and the coffee was just as good!
With a relaxed vibe and some of the best baked goods around, it’s a spot you’ll definitely want to check out.
Hygge
Hygge has brought its cosy, Scandinavian-inspired atmosphere to Leeds. Known for artisan coffee, hearty brunches, Hygge is the perfect spot to relax, study, or catch up with friends.
Already a favourite in Sheffield, the café offers freshly made food, seasonal specials, and takeaway options for those on the go.
Habitum
Habitum is a grab-and-go coffee spot that opened just over a month ago, focused on serving high-quality coffee. It’s another great addition to Aire Park, we’re loving how the area’s developing!
We haven’t had the chance to visit yet, but it’s definitely on our list.
The Clubhouse
A pop-up at North Bar in Aire Park, The Clubhouse serves up fresh baked goods and quality coffee in a laid-back setting.
Open Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm, it brings chill vibes and tasty treats to one of our favourite venues – we’re definitely looking forward to checking this one out!
