It’s Leeds Food Tours owner, Ellen!

I absolutely had to let you know about an incredible burger (or two) that I had at the weekend, somewhere that you NEED to add to your list to try!

Kerbside Kids have recently taken over the kitchen at The Woods in Chapel Allerton, which happens to be just around the corner from me.

They’ve been going a while now and are from the genius boys behind Little Bao Boy in Leeds City Centre.

Friday night we ordered a takeaway, and it was so good that I went back for lunch the next day! To make it better, I even ordered exactly the same thing! This has never happened before.

I got the ‘JB’s Bacon Cheese’- which was a smash patty, American cheese, bacon, bacon jam, Kerbside burger sauce.

What made it so good?

The burger itself was juicy but beautifully caramelised so there was a tiny bit of crunch, and so perfectly seasoned.

The bacon was THICK. There was just the right amount of all the ‘stuff’ inside, so you could taste it all and nothing over powered.

It was a really good burger, highly recommend!
