Top places for vegan food in Leeds
Fat Annies in Kirkgate Market
Fat Annie’s famously ditched meat a few years ago and never looked back.

Their Royale Not Dog and Mexicana Burger (complete with nacho crunch) are legendary. It’s messy, satisfying, and perfect for a quick market lunch.
Bundobust
If you’re out with friends who aren't doing Veganuary, Bundo is the ultimate compromise.

It’s 100% vegetarian, but the majority of the menu is vegan. Between the Vada Pav (basically a spicy potato burger) and the Bhaji Butty, you won't even notice the lack of meat.
Döner Summer
If you’re missing your weekend kebab or fried chicken fix, head straight to Call Lane. Döner Summer specialises in "vegan junk food" that looks and tastes like the real deal.
Their Garlic Parmesan Fries and Tell Your Friends kebabs are absolute game-changers, tried and tested by us; we can vouch that they’ve got it spot on!
Wapentake
Yes, you can still have a Sunday Roast. Wapentake on Kirkgate does a vegan roast that rivals any traditional pub.
They even do a Vegan Yorkshire Pudding, which, as any local knows, is absolutely incredible! Make sure to reserve a table ahead to avoid disappointment!
