Leeds Food Tours is joining forces with We Are In Business to bring you a networking event with a difference.
Take a long lunch break and join us on a two hour walking tour, that will take you to four foodie venues.
You'll get food at each stop (included in your ticket price), hear the stories behind the venues and learn about the food. You'll get a bit of Leeds history, and a ghost story or two!
There will be plenty of time to network with others on our tour at each stop, and whilst walking between stops (we know it's not ideal to network with your mouth full of food!).
The tour is open to anyone wanting to network in Leeds, you don't need to be a member of We Are In Business.

- Group size: up to 20 people
- Walking distance: approx 1 mile
- The secret meeting point will be emailed to you before the event, it will be City Centre based close to the train station.
What to Expect
What to Expect
You'll visit four food venues, with some food included at every stop.
Portion sizes will vary from samples to more substantial portions. We're aiming to replace your lunch and afternoon snack, but not make you fall asleep at your desk in the afternoon!
At each stop you'll hear the story behind the venue, what you'll be eating and a fun fact or two.
Then you'll have a chance to network over tasty food, and again between venues.

We're expecting participants across all industries, employed, self-employed, small & large businesses.
The event will be promoted to We Are In Business members and network, and Ellen from Leeds Food Tours network (mostly met through other fantastic networking events!).
We're hoping for a sell out of 20 people!

We had such a great time on the food tour with Lynda. There was plenty of tasty food at spots we had never been to before. A great variety and Lynda was so easy to chat to. We were absolutely stuffed with all the different food on offer and there's opportunities to buy drinks at every stop as desired and plenty of access to toilets.

A great afternoon eating our way round Leeds. Having lived near Leeds for way too long I had only ever visited one of the 6 venues we visited! Ellen was a super host telling us some historical facts of the venues and foods and showing us a side of Leeds we did not know! If you are local to Leeds or just visiting you will not be disappointed with this tour.

Excellent tour. Ellen is an amazing guide. Knows lots about the history of Leeds and had chosen some great food places for the tour which we would never have chosen previously. We are quite local but never been to Leeds market food hall which is amazing particularly the Tunisian and Indian food stalls. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to experience some different places and find out about Leeds. Ellen has put a lot of effort and work in to finding places that are independent businesses serving excellent food. It's so hard to cater for everyone's tastes but this would suit anyone that is up for an experience and likes to try new things.

Had a fabulous afternoon at Leeds with Leeds Food Tours. Ellen was bubbly and knowledgable. The food was amazing without exception and the afternoon flew by. If you are looking for an activity a little difference then give this a try. Would highly recommend.
