What is Leeds Food Tours?
We're based in Leeds and offer guided and self-guided food tours to anyone wanting to discover more of Leeds' culinary scene.
On both tours, you'll visit six stops, with food included at each! You'll try different cuisines and we will show you some of our favourite spots around the city centre, they make the perfect sunny OR rainy day activity.

Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen
Home to the popular Dough Boys Pizza and Patty's Burgers, this music hall is a great venue to watch live music, drink great beer and most of all - sit and bask in the sunshine with a hazy pale ale.
They've hosted the likes of Loyle Carner, Mike Skinner and Arlo Parks and it really is a great venue for live music, but nothing beats sitting on their rooftop with a refreshing pint when the sun is shining.

Green Room
A two-tiered terrace space tucked away on Wellington Street, Green Room serves up brunch, chill vibes and even workout classes (sometimes) during the day, by night they're dishing up tasty cocktails, craft beers and local DJ's to get the weekend on track.
Braizin Squad are firing up the grill, serving brunch and lunch, whilst Homeboy Pizza Co. are on the terrace slinging pizzas every Tuesday evening. Don't worry if you don't make it up here in summer, in the winter they cover the entire terrace and add heaters, last year we enjoyed a roast dinner in November on the terrace and it was surprisingly comfortable temperatures to say we were outside!

Harvey Nichols
Part of the Fourth Floor Brasserie, Harvey Nichols boasts a tucked away dining and drinks terrace up on their fourth floor. Their cocktails are divine and taste even better when sunning it up on the terrace. They often do seasonal set menu's and their summer one is £35 for three courses and a Rose Spritz!

A summer icon in Leeds, whenever there's hot (or should we say dry) weather the question is always: Headrow House? There are four floors and it's set in a former textile mill, whenever we've taken people who haven't been they're always surprised how such a great venue is so quietly tucked away on the Headrow (you'll know what we mean if you've visited before). Home to the award-winning Ox Club, it has multiple bars across the floors, including two open air terraces, making it a perfect place to enjoy a cold pint of beer in Leeds.

IF Rooftop
A newbie to Leeds' rooftop scene, the guys over at IFupNorth have taken over a former rooftop space and brought along with them their great drinks, good vibes and good food! This rooftop is perfect all year round, as when the weather gets chilly, they cover the space!

Brought to you by Leeds Brewery, it's a cosy pub beer garden located near The Calls, The Lamb and Flag is an iconic Leeds pub and their beer garden is a great space to sit with family or friends and enjoy some drinks in the sunshine. If you happen to go on a Sunday, we highly recommend their roast dinner whilst sat outside, you'll have front row views of the beautiful Leeds Minster whilst you eat and drink the day away, what's better!?

An unsuspected courtyard awaits you, tucked right at the back of their bar on Call Lane, Roland's has a lovely little outdoor space, perfect for drinks on a hot day, or in winter if you want to be outside (but covered!)

We first discovered their outdoor space after a walk around this area of Leeds, The Midnight Bell's outdoor space has such a great urban feel to it, and gets the perfect amount of sunlight on an evening. They do great drinks, roasts and other pub food!

Right in the heart of the city centre, the Turks Head is a bar next to the infamous Whitelocks, with a yard area to the front named 'Turks Head Yard'. It's a spot that you'll find people sat out no matter rain or shine, sipping on independent beers and carefully crafted cocktails. Controversially, our favourite time to sit here is on a dull and drizzly day, there's something so cosy about the fairy lights and the yard that make a dreary day a little brighter!

Waterlane Boathouse
Quizzes, bingo and workshops, Waterlane has events for any occasion and a large beer garden perfect for hot weather. Their outdoor space is guaranteed to be packed if the weather is nice, and we often question what time people must have to get there to secure one of those ever-so-desired tables!? It's a great spot for catching up with friends and it sits directly on the canal at Granary Wharf, making it a drink with a view!

Take a gentle stroll down the canal, where it meets the river by The Docks, keep walking away from the city centre and you'll find Piglove on the river. A beautiful spot amongst the new Citu development (Climate Innovation District), where they often have different food trucks to soak up the craft beer.

Look at the canal and Granary Wharf from a different point of view (in fact you'd be looking directly at Waterlane Boathouse), Salt's outdoor space can get pretty busy with people on the benches, stood about with a beer in hand, or sat on on the wall enjoying the sunshine. It's an added bonus that Falafel Guys are the resident kitchen here, making it a great spot for good food, beer and cocktails on tap!
